K-6 are practicing running style on the basketball court. Slow and steady wins. Here we create cardio endurance
with running style..
How many laps can you do in the new year.
1. Shoulders square, Chest out, hands cuped, arms bend, knees bend a little, foot strike is forward...

What did we learn from this?
What could we do better next time?
How was your energy level?
How does this relate to long distance running?

  4. We learned that exersize is very important. We could do better by Jogging very consistently. My energy level was very high. This relates to long distance running because you can conserve energy.

  6. I ran 85 laps around in my neighborhood. I have seen many cats including the neighbor's witch is very nice.

  8. I ran 15 laps. I am learning that PE is a great thing to keep in good shape and become very healthy. My energy was high.

  10. P.E. is a thing that everyone should know about and people should exercise every day for at least 45 minutes. Every summer, I swim every chance I get.

  19. I ran 200 laps in January! I sometimes was really tired but I didn't give up. I ran 210 laps last December.

  20. I should run more laps. At the park my brother, his friend, and me all exercised a lot. I think my energy level was almost empty. I think it was about the same as if we ran a long distance.

  24. I love PE when we do the rotations with basketballs and jump ropes/huluhoops and then do the pin-dodge ball game.
